If you like to record ideas this app is great. It's called Voice Memo and now that I think about it, I think it comes with the iPhone...

Anyway, really easy to use! I just put on the music and the app and start singing. Suprisingly good sound!
It's a bit of a short cut trying out ideas before I record properly..

Got a couple of new dance tracks I'm testing a few ideas on! ;)

...editing pictures so that I can print them/develop. Haven´t done this in years. But now that our walls are so fresh and plastered I got inspired! :)

I also made a big canvas, 60x90 cm (25x35 inches) to the bedroom. Picture´s a bit too privat so I´m not putting it up here...hehe... But here are some other beautiful pics that are coming up on our walls! Just need to find the right frames.

This is from Colonia, in Uruguay, when we were there in December 2011. It´s Uruguays olders city, built by the portuguese in 1680.

Earlier today we went to a flea market in town, haven't been to one in years!
Found a couple of fun things, like this clock. Imagine it alone on a clean white wall. Could be stylish, right?

Didn't buy anything there but I got me this ring at Lindex (like H&M). Pretty right? It has a beautiful turqoise stone.

So...yesterdays trip was kinda interesting! We were just arriving to the station and all of a sudden the train stops! Baam! The power died... Hi-lla-ri-ous... So we got like 2 hours delyed, missed the connection and yada yada. Anyway, my cousin came and picked us up so it ended good!

Woke up to this amazing view. We're by the lake Möckeln.... Just had breakfast! Yuum...

The rest of the Lobos family and I are going on a family trip to the south of Sweden, Älmhult (that's where IKEA was started btw...). We're celebrating my auntie's birthday!
She's getting a mix of fun things from us, including champagne and perfume. I mean, what else does a woman need, really...haha...

I went to see Breaking Dawn this afternoon.

It´s really a beautiful studio in an amazing enviroment...

The best from the anaolg and digital world... BIG table! Used to belong to Max Martin.

Caroline Larsson performed her Eva Cassidy covers together with gitarrist Bengt Magnusson. VERY good! Caroline has a beautiful strong voice and she managed to make the songs her own. Which is hard with Eva Cassidy because we´ve all heard those amazing tracks so many times...

I've been living the good life in Uruguay and really spoiled myself so now it's back to reality. Feels pretty good actually. A good detox with no wine or alcohol for at least 3-4 weeks!
And healthy food! Reasonable portions...hehe... :)
Tonight's dinner is chicken with tomato and red onions, all in the owen (love to cook this way, so easy!).
I would've LOVED a glass of red wine to this but enough is enough...there's enough calories on this body as it is...haha...! It's like I land at the airport of Montevideo and "poff' I've gained weight! Don't get it, like magic...or not... :)
Anyway, TOTALLY worth it!!
I'm back to the gym next week.

Today I finished negotiating the agreement on a new track that's being released this spring. EXCITED!! Finally I'll be able to share this great news with you!

Feels great to be back home!
I got tons to do today, need to get back on track on a lot of things! :)

When we got back home yesterday we found the place a bit messy...to say the least..hahaha...!

The day before we left we decided to putty and paint the walls in the entrance and livingroom.
It´s looking beautiful and we´re really pleased! :)

The place was just really dirty, dusty and messy so we cleaned till 1 am... Now it´s all spick and span again!

The biggest difference was the entrance, since it had been red/orange....It´s so much brighter now! I found an old pic that show that color a little bit. Think I was showing my new purple chinos!

Yesterday we celebrated our 6th anniversary!

We decided to go down to Bikini Beach and have a toast in the beautiful sunset...

Urbana has their Sunset Tour there and Javier Misa played! We brought our sunchairs and a bottle of Medio y Medio. Uruguayan mix of sparkling and wine, half and half, that´s what it means... Perfection!

After that we went down to a new restaurant that they´ve opened in our favourite area, Chihuahua. They´ve been working really hard to get it ready and now it is! :)
It has a pool outside, a bar and sunbeds so I think it can be really cool! It´s a bit dark but you get the picture!

And so much good wine! We drank their awardwinning tannat, Luz de Luna. Best tannat in 2011!

Thay also had oliveoil, pastas, marmelads and dulce de leche (a uruguayan fudge made out of condensed milk).

We had dinner at home first and then headed down to the beach just before twelwe.
So perfect... Had champagne and marzipan and watched the most AMAZING fireworks!! Creations that formed hearts, planets with rings, just spectacular things... Bliss!

So much is going on here right now. Wherever you look there's a new restaurant, a new hotel, bar, etc...

There's a lot of great music too! Today at Playa Tio Tom they were building this for Bob Sinclar. The soundcheck was so loud...haha.. Pretty cool!

Colonia Day 2

Posada Gondwana is such a pretty place. We have breakfast in front of the pool area and the roof is made out of grape bushes!

So, last night we strolled around in Colonias historical part, the old one.

Many things have been restored but I think they´ve tried to keep it as genuine as possible.

We had an amazing sunset, right in time for dinner!

So, today we left Montevideo for Uruguays oldest city, Colonia. Founded by the portuguese in 1680. My first time here so we're staying a couple of days. Just chill and relax and go for a couple of sightseeings.. The last couple of days have been hectic...

We're staying at Posada Gondwana, a few minutes outside of the city, on the countryside. Place is so calm and beautiful. Cows and horses outside. Owned by a couple from Switzerland.

A bit of a change from yesterdays houseparty on the street outside of our hotel in the old city in Montevideo! On Christmas, at noon! Hello?!?Haha...crazy, I forgot to tell you! Montevideo is such a party town! I did not see that coming.. :)

Anyway, we just got back from some dinner and now we're chilling in the patio... :)

Can't believe Christmas is in just two days... You kind of forget about all that here. Kind of the point, too...! :)

We checked iin to the hotel a few hours ago. Had lunch down at Mercado del Puerto, that's the "harbour market".
We're in the old city, Ciudad Vieja.

Even though this part of the city is a bit torn, the city is renovating and restauring many of the old beautiful houses. The arquitectre is fantastic! I think it's old french colonial style, but I could be wrong.

We've been hanging out at the hotels roof top pool.

Today we went horse riding in this beautiful place called La Pataia. They have cows and horses and it´s like a nature reserve, just beautiful!

Christel lend me her helmet, just to be on the safesside.... I got the perfect horse too! Quite calm, but he did as I told him, left, right, faster, stop.

Here we all are outside of Forlans house, not that you actually see anything! He´s Uruguays best fotballplayer. I look like a total nerd...I know! Haha...

How cute is Enzo, Christels youngest son, 5,5 years old!

We all had so much fun today! Our horse man thought I should wear his hat for the picture... Better then the helmet I guess??

Update from last night at Open Park

So.. the day started with a great soundcheck at main stage.

Both Fernando Picon and Gabriel Rocha/ Djpp were there and we got to say hi and chat a bit. :)
Fernando (who, btw, will open for David Guetta here in Punta del Este on Jan 3rd!! Congrats!) to my left and Gabriel to my right.

So...here comes the bad news... We got cancelled! :(
The whole show was like 2,5 hours delayed (insane) and it just made it impossible.... Really, really sad but looking at it from another side, I still had some great things coming out of it. Coming collaborations and such... I´ll let you in on it later.

Anyways, here´s a few seconds of the soundcheck...Haha...only thing I got!

So...at 4 am we decided to go clubbing! Fernando is a resident dj at one of Montevideo´s hottest nightclubs, Lotus! The clubs here close at 6.30... Not really used to those hours. People come in at around 3.30, 4 am....

After that we went to a restaurant a friend recomended in Carrasco, Garcia. Appearently they have the best baby beef there... In general, if you love meat, Uruguay is THE place to be. Period.
So...320g of meat later and I'm stuffed...haha...No! I did not eat it all! :)

The days are so lovely here...no big plans, just going along with it...perfect! :)

Today´s been cloudy and raining so we´ve actually been cleaning up the place a bit. It´s tons to do when you have such a big garden and outdoor space and we are glad to help out! The people are so nice here we´re glad to do it!

I cleaned the stairs from clay and moss and rinsed. Andreas swept the poolarea. :)

I can live with this...hehe...

Feels SO good now... I´m done with my morning run and I did better then yesterday! Yesterday I felt like each leg weighed a 100 kg each...haha.... Anyway, today I did 30 mins. A start! :)

Villa Toscana is just by a lake called Laguna Del Sauce, beautiful and very peaceful! Perfect for running... Looks a bit like Sweden...funny!

Happy but tired girl!...and a bit red! :)

Quiet day at Villa Toscana....

I spent all morning on Skype and sending emails so we never went to the beach...decided to stay and chill at The Villa...

They have the most amazing lavender here...bushes I wish I had at home!

We decided to grill beef and hamburgers for a few days...hehe... that way we can bring lunch to the beach! Smart, right?! :) Don´t need to go anywhere.

Andreas iPhone 4S takes the most amazing pics... I thought my iPhone4 was good... :)

Fresh out of the shower in the cute Villa Toscana robe!
Nothing like a shower after a day at the beach...mmmmm.... :)

Yesterday we went by some friends who has reopened their restaurant, PK2, down at Portezuelo.
They are such great people who we met 3 years ago when they had the restaurant down at the beach, Carlos & Carmen. She´s from Ibiza and makes the most amazing fish, paella and gambas al ajillo....and more! Just delicious food. They didn´t have a place last year and we really missed them.

They just finished decorating the place and getting everything together! Yaay! I´m so happy for them. It´s gonna be AWESOME!

Yesterday was all about getting seattled and shopping but todays been all about relaxing! First day at the beach did not dissapoint! :)
So beautiful...And empty!

Yesterday we hang out at the pool... Complete bliss aswell as you can see! For those of you who are just joining me I'm staying at Villa Toscana in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

My lovely boyfriend just brought me a glass of rosé, cheers! :)

I´ve been busy fixing for my trip. Only two days left...OMG!!

I just ordered some skincare. I´ve been way to cheap using, ehm..not so good products...
I can tell the difference now that I had the chance to try some Dermalogica. WOW!

The best remover, EVER, is Soothing Eye MakeUp...like meeting Jesus...haha...!!

My eyes are really sensitive and get very dry and red after removing heavy makeup. This one is SO effective and yet so gentle. Like Magic!
I also decided to get me some "Intesive Eye Repair" and "Super Rich Repair". So...I´m going all in...haha..!! But I´m worth it! And it´s about time I take care of my skin!
I found a great webshop with great prices on Dermalogica and Decléor. Check it out, HUDVÅRDSBUTIKEN.

Another favourite is Nuxe. I use their cleasning milk and cleansing water with 3 roses. Excellent and mild for some light cleansing everyday. Me likes!!

Open Park - House festival in Uruguay!

I´m performing at a big house festival in Uruguay, Montevideo on Dec 17th! Yaaay!

I´m so excited to be part of this scene! Even though Uruguay is so small there´s tons of GREAT artists, dj´s and producers! I mean, the population is just 3 million... Awesome!

It´ll be the first time I perform there...stoked! :)

So, I just finished putting together my set. I´m performing together with a dj/ producer (tell you more later...hehe...) and he needed the set to start preparing everything. :)

What else is new... Oh! I found this cool video of Marcus Ullmarkers remix of Heart of Mine. I like it when people do their own videos and get creative! :)

Christmas is coming closer...

So, me and my sick ass spent the weekend in Gothenburg. We threw a surprise party for a friend, he had noooo idea, so it was really fun!

We also spent some time with my bf´s family, since we´re not gonna be there for Christmas, and we left my baby Zorro there...

Next week is the LAST week and things are adding up fast! My priority is to get WELL!! I must... I have studio time and my voice is far from ready... A singer´s nightmare!

This Sunday is the first Advent and we always light a candlestick with four candles, one for every sunday up to Christmas. I´ve made mine! With coffeebeans, cinnamon sticks and tiny oranges from our orangeplant. Pretty, right?

Dying on the couch...

Sorry for the absence but I got the WORST COLD EVER!!! Just when I thought I had it under control... BAAM! The gig on wednesday didn't really help... Coughing my lungs out, just laying on the couch, praying for it to go away!
Anyway, got a bunch of stuff at the drugstore yesterday, it has relieved a bit. This morning...haha....
